Monthly Dinner Meeting - Change to Virtual

Monthly Dinner Meeting - Change to Virtual

Hello Members of AWCCA and the Arizona Workers’ Compensation Community,

Due to factors beyond our control, the AWCCA Board has decided to discontinue in-person dinner meetings until we are able to locate a new venue. We will continue to offer monthly virtual meetings in lieu of in-person dinner meetings on a virtual platform using Zoom. This is to avoid interruption to the monthly education programs we look forward to bringing our members and the community.

Steve Baker and Dennis Kurth will be our “season opener” on September 14TH with a presentation on Bad Faith. In October, Dr. Vogel from TOCA at Banner Health will present on hip preservation and injuries. November brings Dr. Tsanadis presenting on Neuropsych IMEs and how testing is administered and interpreted to answer IME questions. All of these meetings are free to members.

We are hoping to locate a new venue for in-person dinner meetings within the next month or two. If we’re unable to secure a dinner venue for the remainder of 2021, our annual holiday party on December 14, 2021 at the Heard Museum will be our first in-person event of the current meeting year. The holiday party will also be free to members this year. And we look forward to seeing you all there. Stay healthy!
