AWCCA Rehabilitant of the Year Award's Night (ROTY)
AWCCA Rehabilitant of the Year Award's Night (ROTY)
Tuesday, May 18, 2021 (5:00 PM - 8:00 PM) (MST)
Description
The Rehabilitant of the Year Award (ROTY) is presented annually to an injured worker who has overcome significant obstacles and has reached his or her highest rehabilitation potential. "Highest potential" is relative to each injured worker and does not necessarily mean securing and retaining competitive employment.
This event is to recognize the nominee’s accomplishments.
Recognition of the nominees and winner(s) is made each year at the May AWCCA dinner meeting. Recipients receive a cash prize as well as a certificate of recognition. Awards are also distributed for each injured worker nominated
NOMINATION PROCESS AWCCA begins accepting Rehabilitant of the Year nominations in February of each year. Nomination forms must include information about the nature of the nominee's injury, their medical treatment, obstacles they overcame to achieve success, descriptors of support (i.e., family, community, etc.), as well as the final outcome. This information will be shared with the audience during the award ceremony.
NOMINATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
Thank you for helping make this event successful!
SUPPORT THE REHABILITANT OF THE YEAR AWARD
The financial support and emotional encouragement from professionals in the workers' compensation field is key to our ongoing commitment to the awards. Without this opportunity, many of our injured workers would have no one to rely upon but themselves when attempting to regain autonomy and hopefully return to gainful employment.
Your generous contribution will allow us to continue our efforts.
